Gold Olympian Flies In

Cherie Piper, three times gold medal Olympian for Team Canada (Ice Hockey) flies into New Zealand on June 20 to begin her three week stay in Hamilton.

Cherie will be hosting a Senior Women Inline Hockey camp ( June 23/24) and a Junior Women camp ( June 30/ July 1) . Players wishing to attend can contact Sandy Nimmo for more information.(sanimmo@xtra.co.nz)

Cherie will also be leading the player camp being hosted by Sandy in Hamilton during the first week of the school holidays.The Hamilton Devils will provide their venue on Dey Street and club members will host her stay.

Cherie has taken part in three Olympic Winter Games (2010 (Gold), 2006 (Gold), 2002 (Gold), four IIHF World Women's Championships along with many other national and international events. Her favourite sport other than ice hockey is listed as roller (inline) hockey.
