Dear inline hockey community,

We appreciate your messages and comments about access to the website and just to remind all that as advised we have been in the process of migrating our website to align to the Esports platform over the past few months. A number of links to these have been sent out which offer access to all documents.

COVID-19 Level 2 Statement

COVID-19 Level 2 Statement

Posted May 13, 2020
IHNZ News

Following the government’s announcement on the transition to Alert Level 2 and Sport NZs announcement this morning, IHNZ would like to confirm the following for Inline Hockey going forward.

The 10 person gathering limit does apply to Inline Hockey.

From Thursday 14 May, training is able to begin if the combined number of players, coaches and/or officials does not exceed 10 people and the appropriate physical distancing guidelines are being observed.

All hygiene, contract tracing, physical distancing and gathering public guidelines must be adhered to.

The overriding issue is safety and it is  important everyone is patient as this will help to keep New Zealanders safe.

As Sport NZ has said and we would like to reiterate, we don’t want sport to be the reason we go backwards in alert levels.

Any questions or queries please forward to gm@inlinehockeynz.org.nz.

Stay safe all,
Regards
IHNZ Board
