We appreciate your messages and comments about access to the website and just to remind all that as advised we have been in the process of migrating our website to align to the Esports platform over the past few months. A number of links to these have been sent out which offer access to all documents.

Respect the Stripes Campaign

Respect the Stripes Campaign

IHNZ News

Abuse of officials is nothing new across sport.

IHNZ have developed a programme to tackle inappropriate behaviour and improve the experience of everyone involved in Inline Hockey,  particularly our referees.

Our people in stripes are often those on the frontline  subjected to poor behaviour from players, managers, coaches and parents alike.

Whilst IHNZ has a Code of Conduct setting out the expectations of our players, this campaign is aimed at everyone in our sport.

The Respect the Stripes campaign will involve two major initiatives.

Firstly, a series of posters will be distributed to all clubs electronically with hard copies being supplied to those clubs who have venues.  Clubs are asked to please display these in prominent positions for all to see.

The second initiative is a 1 hour online session being held in conjunction with the Referee trainers in which coaches are encouraged to attend.  Once all coaches have been appointed by their clubs, they will receive an invite to attend this session.

We encourage every one of our members to actively participate in the campaign and be part of the challenge to stamp out abuse  within our sport.

Stay safe all,

Regards
IHNZ Board
